    Ideally, every piano lesson should be interesting, fun and a joy to both learner and teacher. This is especially important for young learners whose enthusiasm we want to keep alive. We as teachers know what a challenge this is!

    The Kingdom of Music approach is built around a story full of characters, places and adventures, all with specific music meaning — young learners (and older ones) love this.

    • Learners are engaged on all levels: physically, emotionally, creatively, imaginatively and intellectually. They work with colour, pictures, stories, drawing, movement, improvising – they thrive on it.
    • A thorough foundation in musicianship is built; aural awareness, theoretical knowledge, piano technique and creative work.
    • All of this come together in the repertoire, which also fits into the story.

    The Teacher’s Manual contains all the necessary background material as well as meticulously worked out lesson plans for the teacher to guide his/her learners through all the work in the Learners’ Manuals.

    • 60 prepared lessons for 9 to 10-year-old beginners

    ensure that all aspects of the work are covered and fit into the story.
